Why 75 Hard Works
75 Hard is not a fitness program. It is a mental toughness program created by Andy Frisella. The rules are simple and non-negotiable: complete all six tasks every single day for 75 consecutive days. If you miss even one task on any day, you restart from Day 1.
There are no modifications, no substitutions, and no "making it up tomorrow." That rigidity is the point. The program forces you to build discipline by removing the option to negotiate with yourself. Every day you have to do hard things whether you feel like it or not.
The 6 Daily Tasks
- Two 45-minute workouts — one must be outdoors, rain or shine. These must be separate sessions, not one 90-minute block. This teaches you to prioritize your time and push through discomfort.
- Follow a diet with no alcohol and no cheat meals — you choose the diet, but you must stick to it perfectly. This builds the ability to say no to impulse and instant gratification.
- Drink one gallon of water — roughly 3.8 liters. Hydration supports physical performance, but more importantly it creates a daily discipline of consistent effort.
- Read 10 pages of non-fiction — from a physical book, not an audiobook. This develops the focus to sit with material and learn, rather than passively consuming content.
- Take a progress photo — daily accountability and visual documentation of your journey. This builds the habit of honest self-assessment.
What Makes It Different
Most challenges let you "kind of" follow the rules. 75 Hard does not. The restart rule is what separates this from every other challenge. When you know missing one task means losing weeks of progress, you stop making excuses. You find a way.
By Day 75, you will not just be fitter or more knowledgeable. You will have proven to yourself that you can commit to something difficult and see it through. That confidence carries into every other area of your life.
How to Use This Tracker
Click "Start Challenge" to begin on Day 1. Each day, check off all 6 tasks as you complete them. Once all boxes are checked, the "Complete Day" button activates. Press it to lock in that day and advance to the next.
If you open the tracker and a previous day was not completed, the tracker will detect the missed day and prompt you to restart. All data is saved in your browser — no account required.
